The operation saw the reclamation of:
- 15.25 acres : from individuals including Kaveri Seeds owner G.V. Bhasker Rao and BJP MLA candidate Sunil Reddy.
- 12 acres: from AIMIM MLA Mohammed Mubeen, whose five-story building was demolished.
- 4.9 acres: from Akkineni Nagarjuna, involving the demolition of eight structures.
- 3.5 acres: from local BRS leader Ratnakaram Sai Raju.
The reclamation took place across several key areas including Banjara Hills, Lotus Pond, and Ameerpet, among others. The first demolition operation, clearing park encroachment in Film Nagar Cooperative Society, marked the beginning of HYDRA’s extensive crackdown.

HYDRA was established under the National Disaster Management Act and operates under the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) department. This new body is tasked with protecting government lands, water bodies, and other public assets from illegal encroachments.
